What’s the difference between Braziliani, Brazilian/Bikini Combo, and Bikini Waxing?

At KASIWAX, we offer three signature bikini-style waxes, each tailored to how much hair you want removed — and how you want to feel after:
Bikini – It covers the outer lip crease, with a medium triangle or landing strip on top.
Leaves you feeling groomed, confident, and ready to slip into your favorite swimsuit or outfit with peace of mind.

Bikini/Combo – More than a bikini, less than a full brazilian. Includes partial labia and butt crack with with a small triangle or landing strip on top.
A smoother, lighter, and more refreshed feeling — perfect if you want extra freedom without going fully bare. It’s great for those easing into Brazilian waxing or wanting more coverage without going completely bare.

Brazilian – Removes everything from front to back — including the labia and butt crack — with the option to leave a small shape on top.
Our most liberating wax. You’ll walk out feeling sleek, smooth, and completely at ease — with a new level of body confidence.

What’s included:
Belly strip and inner thighs are always included — no added fees.
Note: The butt crack is included in both the Combo and Brazilian wax
Glutes (butt cheeks) are a separate service and not included by default.

How do I prepare for my first Brazilian wax?

Here’s how to make the most of your appointment:
Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).
Avoid shaving or trimming for at least 2 weeks beforehand.
Gently exfoliate the day before.
Shower or freshen up prior to your appointment.
Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize irritation.
If you’ve shaved or trimmed in the past 2 weeks (but more than 7 days ago):
We can still wax you, but more tweezing may be required, and the service could take longer.
An additional fee of $10–$20 may apply.
Please note this when booking so we can reserve enough time for precision work.

Question 4

Can I get a bikini wax or Brazilian if I’m having my period?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can absolutely get waxed during your cycle. Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup.
If you’ve felt more sensitive during this time before, consider avoiding the first or last week of your cycle.

Can I get waxed if I have a sunburn?

Accepted Answer

We don’t wax sunburned, broken, or inflamed skin. It’s not safe and won’t feel good. Let your skin fully heal first — we promise it’s worth the wait.

Can I get waxed if I’m taking medication?

Accepted Answer

Here’s what you need to know:
Topical retinoids (like Retin-A, Differin): Stop using 7 days before and after waxing.
Accutane (Isotretinoin): A 6-month wait is required after stopping, along with a doctor’s note.
Always inform us about any medications — your safety is our top priority.

Is it safe to have a Brazilian wax while pregnant?

Yes! Waxing is safe throughout pregnancy, and we have many expectant clients.
In your final two months, we recommend checking with your doctor first for extra peace of mind.

KASIWAX's policy is to require guests under 18 to have parental consent for bikini waxing services (Oh, and just in case you were wondering…there’s no upper age limit, either. We welcome everyone).

Can I wax if I have piercings or tattoos?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Waxing won’t harm tattoos — it can actually make them look more vibrant by exfoliating dull skin.
 If you have piercings in the waxed area, we’ll either work around them or ask you to remove them briefly.

How long does a Brazilian wax last?

Typically 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your personal hair growth cycle.
For consistently smooth results, we recommend waxing every 5-7 weeks.

Is a bikini wax better than shaving?

Absolutely.Waxing removes hair from the root, so it grows back slower, finer, and softer. Shaving only cuts at the surface, leading to quick regrowth, bumps, and irritation.
