What To Expect

The Preparation

Be Comfortable – Wear Loose Clothing

For maximum comfort before and after your waxing, we recommend wearing loose-fitting clothes. This will help prevent irritation and allow your skin to breathe after the waxing session.

Be Hairy – Your Hair Must Be at Least 1/4 Inch Long

For the best waxing results, your hair must be at least 1/4 inch long. Avoid shaving or trimming before your appointment, as shorter hairs can make waxing less effective and more uncomfortable. Trust us—let it grow!

Exfoliate – Prep Your Skin

Exfoliating your skin before your appointment helps remove excess dead skin cells, making the waxing process smoother and more effective. Use a loofah or scrub to gently exfoliate the area a day or two before your appointment.

Shower – Open Up Your Pores

A hot shower before your appointment will help open up your pores, making it easier for the wax to grip and remove the hair. Clean, hydrated skin is the key to a smoother waxing experience.

Plan Ahead – Timing Is Everything

For the best waxing experience, plan your activities ahead of time. Avoid any intense workouts immediately after waxing to prevent irritation. If you're waxing for a special event or vacation, we recommend scheduling your appointment 1-2 weeks before your big day for optimal results.

Tell Us About Your Skin Concerns

Please examine your skin before your appointment and inform your technician of any areas you’d like to avoid (such as skin tags, moles, scars, etc.). This helps us ensure your comfort and safety. We also wax pregnant clients and those on their menstrual cycle, but for Brazilian and bikini waxing, a tampon is required.

No Shaving or Trimming Needed

No need to worry about trimming! We wax long hair, and we don’t require any pre-wax trimming. Just come as you are, and we’ll handle the rest.

Parent Consent Required For Under 18

We happily wax clients under the age of 18—parental consent is required. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll take it from there.

Walk-ins Welcome

We understand that life can get busy, which is why we accept walk-ins! Just drop by when you’re ready, and we’ll fit you in as soon as we can.

Medications & Waxing – Safety First

If you’re on medication, your skin may be more sensitive to waxing. It’s always best to consult your doctor if you’re unsure. For clients using prescription creams like Retin-A or Differin, we recommend that you stop use 7 days before your wax appointment and do not resume until 7 days after your service. Please note: We do not perform waxing on clients currently taking Accutane. Waxing while on Accutane is very dangerous. A doctor’s note is required if you’ve recently been on it and wish to receive services. And most importantly, please keep our Waxers informed about any medications you’re taking. We want to ensure your experience is not only smooth—but safe.
